BENEFITS
Medical Plan
Varying levels of cost and coverage between medical plans allow you to select the
option that is right for you and your family. SYS Technologies offers both a Preferred
Provider Organization (PPO) and a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Plan. The
costs to cover dependents are higher under the PPO plan, and deductibles and higher
co-payments may apply. The HMO plan is not available in all geographic locations.
Dental Plan
SYS Technologies offers a dental insurance plan that allows employees and their families
to visit the dentist of their choice. Although there are PCN (Premier Choice Network)
and PPO provider lists available and the benefits are enhanced within these networks,
you may elect to see the dentist of your choice without penalty. Using the PCN and
PPO networks you maximize your benefits and reduce out-of-pocket expenses. The PCN
network is not available in all geographic locations.
Payroll deductions for Medical and Dental insurance can be taken on a pre-tax basis.
Vision Plan
Employees and their family members who elect medical coverage are provided with vision
insurance. The program provides a comprehensive plan that includes eye exams and
eyewear available through a wide range of eye care locations and providers.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s)
This plan allows you to save money on a pre-tax basis for dependent care or health
care expenses, for you or family members, which may not be covered by your insurance.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP is a resource to assist employees and their families with confidential counseling
through outside professionals to help in resolving personal difficulties.
Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Life insurance equal to the amount of base pay is provided.
Optional Additional Life Insurance.
SYS Technologies’ employees are able to purchase additional life insurance via payroll
deduction.
Short Term Disability Insurance.
In the event of disability, employees may be eligible to receive 60% of base pay.
This insurance covers from the 8th day of a disability through the 90th day. In
the event of hospitalization, coverage begins immediately.
Long Term Disability Insurance.
Employees may be eligible to receive 60% of base pay after 90 days of disability.
401(k) Plan
At the beginning of the month following the completion of 90 days of service, SYS
Technologies employees are eligible to contribute to our 401(k) plan. The plan offers
a wide variety of investment alternatives. The Company will match your contribution
dollar for dollar for the 1st 3% of your contribution and 50 cents on the dollar
for the next 2%. The matching contribution is made in the form of SYS stock.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
Via payroll deduction, employees can contribute from 1-20% of their bi-weekly pay
to the ESPP. These funds are then used to purchase SYS Technologies stock at a discounted
price. The actual purchase price is 85% of the lesser of the closing market price
of our stock on the first and last trading days of each six-month stock purchase
plan enrollment period.
Legal Services Plan
The PrePaid Legal plan is an optional resource to assist employees and their families
with common legal needs.
Educational Assistance
Tuition reimbursement for job related courses and progress toward a degree in a relevant
field.
Personal Leave
Vacation time and sick time are consolidated into one personal leave account.
- 0-4 years of service 3 weeks of personal leave
- 4-10 years of service 4 weeks of personal leave
- 10 + years of service 5 weeks of personal leave
Holidays
SYS Technologies provides 10 paid holidays per year.
